This was our sixth vacation on EI; each time we have used one of EI Realty rentals. It was, however, our first time at a Southern Exposure. Loved the house. The fact that the hot tub was on a different level of deck was great. The upper level of the deck has a picnic table (ate breakfast there every morning) and a gas grill, which we were afraid to use. It was not in good shape and seemed to have a gas odor when we walked by. The interior of the house was really wonderful. The kitchen area was open and spacious; the dining table seated at least 10 people; the other furnishings were in great shape and the fact that there were five oceanside bedrooms (four with their own bathrooms)was a real treat. We did have an issue with hot water (there was none!) when we got there, but EI Realty had maintenance men out there in short order. It took them a while, but they persisted and got it fixed. Really the only complaint would be the lack of screens in the windows. Would have been nice to be able to open the windows to hear the ocean. Overall, EI Realty does a spectacular job. We'll be back for a seventh time.

All of the amenities of this house made it a perfect fit for our large family. The family areas were large enough for all of us to be together when we wanted, but the bedrooms were spread out in such a way that we could also find a place for quiet. The pool, hot tub, proximity to the beach, porches, and pool table were especially great. Also helpful was having two dishwashers and two refrigerators. A large ice maker in the garage would have made it perfect! We are looking forward to next summer already!

Would be nice to have a couple of single beds rather than two rooms with bunks,,but not a problem for us. Service crew delivered full propane tank for grill within an hour

We are repeat cutomers of Emerald Isle Realty for a reason. The customer service is always top notch and friendly. The home we rented was great. Plenty of room for our family/friend group to spend time together and have private space, too. And the beach is just awesome, of course. It's so relaxing hearing the waves break on the beach at night. The grandparents and kids loved the pool. And the elevator was helpful. We wish it went all the way to the driveway level, though. It was a bit of a challenge keeping everyone on the top two floors comfortable at night, however. The uppermost floor would be best served by its own cooling zone...

The great room was adequate to accomodate 10 of us One wish: we needed one more "adult" bedroom did not need all those bunk beds, hard to put a couple there

This house needs some TLC. We basically enjoyed the house and we enjoyed the decks, views and pool but found the following to be issues: The house should not be advertised as an 8 BR house since the 8th BR is the computer room and there is no closet. The description of the house did not indicate that the elevator doesn't go all the way to the ground level. We rent a house with an elevator because I have a mobility limitation and require an elevator but I was faced with steps to even get to the elevator. Additionally, the elevator was not working when we arrived. It was repaired but not until the next day which meant dealing with steps the first night. The bathroom shower floors were covered with mildew and desperately need cleaning. Also toilet seats in at least 3 of the bathrooms were broken. There were several issues in the kitchen: the stove front is broken and kept falling off, the top rack of the left DW is broken, one of the 2 coffeemakers would not work. Downstairs the pool table cue rack is loose on the wall, the pool table needs recovering and the ice maker in that room does not work. The exterior needs attention as well.

Overall it was a great stay and an excellent house. Great kitchen that was well stocked. We needed high chairs and the reality people were great and got them right over to the house. I would definitely stay there again. Some minor issues - The toilet seat in the top bathroom was broken. The blinds were not all there and did not cover the window in the top bedroom. The toilet handle in one of the master suites was broken. All the decks needed nails pounded in and they need painting.
