We received excellent service prior to and during our vacation.We liked the home and amenities very much.The location was super.The location was great-right on the beach. The home was great and only a brand new home may have added a little. Thanks very much for a super place and vacation.

We have been coming to this rental several years now and each year the house needs more and more help. We keep coming because it is workable and the beach and location on Emerald Isle is great for us...it is located on a cul-de-sac with little traffic and we rent 4 houses at a time for our extended family. The furnishings are typical, big and too heavy for a beach house. But, we come for the beach and the covered porch and walk right down to the beach make it worthwhile. If the price keeps going up with no improvements, we may look for another house, plenty are available.

We loved our stay here! Right on the water. Great views, comfortable beds and couches. Works well for extended family.

This was our first stay in Emerald Isle and we very much enjoyed aboard Delight East. The house has a comfortable floor plan and 4 spacious bedrooms, comfortable beds, and a very well equipped kitchen. It was very clean. The Hdtv in the living rm has a fantastic picture. There is more included with this house than the listing indicates--the basement storage rooms are full of beach toys, boogie boards, an adult and child's bike, several balls, etc. Had we known this we would have left a lot of our stuff at home. The listing mentions board games--there are dozens! The walls are thick and we never heard the neighbors. There were only four modest down sides to the house: 1) wifi is slow, making it impossible to stream Netflix with our iPad. [We used the neighbor's faster wifi before they locked it down :)] 2) it is impossible to lock the house from the main level beach side. You must exit on the lower level (island side) and climb up to the deck. If you don't mind leaving the house unlocked for several hours while on the beach, this isn't a huge deal. But it would be nice if the sliding door off the dining area could be locked externally. 3) The gas grill for the east duplex is functional but very old, and has no burner deflectors to distribute heat evenly. The result was burned grouper! The west side of the house has a brand new grill. 4) The screen for the deck off the second level master bedroom was dislodged from its track and could not be closed. Since mosquitos are active when the ocean wind is low, this meant we couldn't sleep with the deck door open. We did not bother to call maintenance about this because we were too busy enjoying the beach to really worry about it. In sum this is a lovely home in a wonderful location on a quiet, family-oriented cul de sac. My comments are merely suggestions of small improvements that will make the place outstanding.

Great location. Clean house. Maintenance team responded quickly to a request we had on first day. All around great work!
