We rented this house for a family get together the first week of November. The house was in excellent shape, very clean and well maintained. The location was right on the beach and at the end of a dead end street. Perfectfor the kids. Nicely furnished with relatively comfortable beds. Wewould love to come back.

This was our second year renting both sides of aboard Delight. Our family comes from NJ, NY, Ohio and NC every summer. This house is extremely well equipped inside as well as items for the beach. Having the linens and towels provided and the beds made was a fabulous plus that was included in the rental cost. It was one less thing that I had to worry about bringing down in our loaded car and it was fabulous to not have to make beds...a great way to start a fabulous vacation!! The closeness to the beach was great too since we had 5 children (4 boys under the age of 4) and they often needed to go back and forth to the house. The addition this season of new furnishings in the living room area was a definite plus to both sides of the duplex. We enjoyed using the picnic tables on the decks as it enabled our "active" family to spread out!! The little ones really enjoy the swing on the porch. The location of this home in a cul-de-sac is great for our family since it is much quieter, no thru traffic, and area for the little ones to ride the bikes and play when they are not on the beach and lots of parking area. We will certainly enjoy coming back to this same rental again next year. We have rented many types of homes/condo on Emerald Isle over the last 30 plus years and this duplex rates extremely high on our list...that is why we returned to it again this summer. Thanks to the owners for providing so many extras that made this house a home away from home.
