Stayed at this location with my extended family of variable ages. The facility was kept up to an exceptional standard. We love the pool and the fact that it was Different depths throughout So even the little kids could stand On their own. The only problem we had was getting good access to the Internet service. It was very slow not allowing one of our guests to take their online classes while in the house. Overall we will visit this region again as the area is the best in the Outer Banks and when we do so there is no question what house we will stay at; it will be this house as long as it stands up To mother nature overtime.

After renting on EI for 30 years or so, oceanfront, Bon ami was a big switch. But it proved to be just wonderful for us. Clean, spacious, stylishly decorated, comfortable, a well equipped kitchen,pool, and very close to the beach - only a short walk! Our week at Emerald Isle was great for all: old(er) and young. We didn't even mind the two days there was some rain because the covered decks on each floor were so enjoyable. P.S. As the Grandmama, I truly appre- ciated the elevator - and the Bunn, quick coffee every morning. We do expect to rent Bon ami again. Lucy diCapua Hartnett 09/14/12

This was our first time renting a vacation homw. We had absolutely the most relaxing vacation ever. Only one little glitch with our wifi I cant wait to try it again. Thanks Emerald Isle Realty. Everyone was so nice!

The house was everything it promised to be, and some more. The walk to the beach is short,and it is easy to go into the water. Evan for older peoples and children. We could not hear any traffic noises from the main road. We had 6 children with us, age 2 to 12, no problem with anything. The kitchen and grills are equipped with everything to handle a large crowed. Our complaint: The time was too short.

Our only comment is the house supports 18 people but even with the regrigerator on the lower level we needed more refrigerator room.

It rated one of the top vacations of all times. The Beach wasn't crowded, but also was comfortable with others shareing the great beach. Access was awsome, and the pool at the house was very well used by all. The house was very comfortble, even one night when we had 20 people eating in the kitchen / dining area. Never once did anyone get in each other's way. The accomodations were such that if you wanted alone time it was available, and if you wanted to party, it too was very accessable. The views were great and the night breezes on the deck was so comfortable. The kitchen met all our needs, and when we looked for something in most cases there were duplicates. Did however missed a garbage disposal. Several time people had trouble finding someone, an intercome would be so nice. All in all I don't think anyone would be disapointed with the accomodations.

Absolutly the most relaxing vacation ever! We get together every year at the beach and have rented lots of different homes, The Bon ami and Emerald Isle Reality made this one so easy. From arrival to departure! The drive-in check in lane keeps you from even getting out of your car and after driving several hours to get to the beach it was so nice to have all the linens already on the beds. It sounds like a small thing to make beds but after driving, unloading and greeting family members you have not seen in a year to be able to get everybody settled was a breeze! This was the first year we rented a home with an elevator, what a life saver! It made moving in/out and day to day living in the house so easy. The kitchen is so well stocked we did not need to use any extra kitchen stuff we had brought. We did have a couple little problems with the hot tub and the grill but after a phone call the issues were fixed right away. We were a little concerned that to pool was kinda small an not very deep but once we were there and using the pool it was the perfect size! After a great week the check out process and final clean up was so easy Emerald Isle Realty made our vacation one we will always remember and we will be back to the Bon ami! If you are considering this home to rent for your vacation don't hesitate any longer this is the perfect one!

Bon ami was the perfect house for our four families. We all have small children (6 and under). The beach access was very close and the pool was perfect for the parents to lay by when the kids were napping. The new owners just added the most amazing grill which we used every day. The large kitchen and living area were perfect for our large group and all of the bedrooms were clean and comfortable. The service was great as well. We had a little problem with some stuff growing in the spa and when we called to report it, the problem was fixed within a few hours. We were back in the spa by that evening. Overall, an amazing vacation!
