The house is beautiful, but the kitchen was not well stocked, we did minimal cooking but still found the equipment there was not adequate. The view to the beach is somewhat hindered by the overgrowth of the dunes in front of the house. And the public access next to the house was very busy. The deck furniture was only plastic adorondak chairs. These all seem like trivial things to comment on, given how nice the house is, but we have stayed in many houses on Emerald Isle and these are things we noted. Great master suite! As always the staff at Emerald Isle Realty was excellent and made everything so easy from the planning process to checkout.

This is our second year at EI and our first time at Carolina Sunshine. The accomodation would be 5 star if there had not been a good deal of rug stains that were very obvious in the living room. Also, the sliding glass door to deck in MB was too difficult too open so we did not use that deck. We spent most of our time on the lower deck and absolutely loved it -- I would suggest that higher chairs would be great because the adirondacks were too low to see over the railing and watch the ocean. Overall, loved our stay there! Thank you.

The beach house was very nice and had plenty of room for our family. The location was excellent with a fairly short walk down to the beach.

The location is perfect. Ocean front in an area that is not crowded at all. Close to the shopping area on the Island, but also not far from atlantic Beach or Swansboro. The house is nothing to write home about but is decent. It was clean. The family room furniture is not uncomfortable but not terribly comfortable and there could be more seating facing the television. The beds were adequate but showing wear for sure. Only two televisions; could use more in a house that sleeps 12 or so. Kitchen had pretty much the basics. Dishwasher, washer and dryer all worked well.
