We have stayed at Dolphin Lookout multiple times. It is convenient to the beach, a reasonable price and very well appointed. The drive way is steep which can be a challenge for the very young and very old. But it also means great views from the top deck! We will be back.

We have rented this house 6-7 times, have lost count. Great location, fantastic family beach. Sure the driveway is steep, but that means fabulous views from both the second and third floor decks! Kitchen has everything. Looks like 2 new bikes and a new gas grill. No beach chairs this year - were counting on tem being here since they have been in past. Couple of video game systems plus board games. Your family will have a great time at Dolphin Lookout and Emerald Isle.

The only down side is the drive way as it is dangerous for driving and for children. My wife has had two knee replacements, and she could not walk down the drive - she asked the neighbors and they let her use their driveway.

Great place one of the nicer ones I have been in the past 15 years. Recommend new couches and porch furniture---plastic chairs not easy to get into, uncomfortable. Make sure you keep the steepness of the driveway in your ads. All in all, if I come back to Emerald Isle, I would use this house again.

This is our second year in dolphin lookout. Again, great location, very well stocked house. They completely renovated the kitchen this year: granite tops, all stainless appliances, new cabinets. The kitchen is well stocked with every gadget and serving piece you could ever need, as well as new small electrics. The house was newly painted this year as well. They have bikes now, yay! And a lot of beach gear. There is a bit of a hike up the driveway The beach is a 2 min walk. My gripes: needs new mattresses, and the house was not clean when we arrived at 4:30, but this wasn't the fault of this house, rather of Emerald Isle Realty. I called housekeeping and there was a crew there in 2 hours. The woman said they technically had until 6 pm to clean the houses, however the cleaning crew was surprised we were there ("we thought the house was empty this week")

House was beautiful, well stocked kitchen. Nicely decorated. An easy walk to the beach and beautiful views from the decks. Two suggestions is to get different seating for the decks, looked straight at deck rails from chairs, had to stand to appreciate the view. Clothes line needs to be bigger and moved, the irrigation system continually soaked our towels, so we had to hang them from the deck or use the dryer.
