Very comfortable house and a well stocked kitchen. We have rented many, many beach houses over the years and this one has been the best, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The owners thought of all things one might need while on vacation. Books, movies, pots, pans and tons of flatware. So you did not spend all your time washing dishes. If I had to say anything negative I would say unless you love love the sun, you can not sit out on the deck during the day 10 am to 2pm. The deck overhang provides no sun protection. So if you have people who don't want to go down to the beach but want to enjoy outdoor fresh air they will have to stay in during this time. Also the house really has five bedrooms. One on the bottom, three on the second floor and a loft area that has queen and two twins. Would rent again!!!

Dunecliff East is on a great part of the beach at Emerald Isle! Not too crowded, very wide beach, and great area to swim. The house itself is fairly close to beach making the trip to the sand easy! What's good about this rental - house is well stocked with lots of beach amenities - chairs, toys, umbrellas, boogie boards, etc. The owners even have storage containers under the house to organize the equipment. It makes it very easy to vacation. House is also equipped nicely with kitchen dishes, utensils, etc. Dvd collection for rainy days (which we had lots of this year). What's not so good - the house is in need of some TLC. It's showing it's age and continued rentals have taken their toll. Dishwasher does not work, water leaking in from dining room windows and above door to beach where mold has started to grow. Flooring and cabinets in kitched showing age. House could use a coat of paint. All things you would expect in a house that is probably continuously rented and we were there at the end of the summer season. Emerald Isle Realty is great to work with and would highly recommend them if you are looking for a place to rent!

Clean comfortable house with lots of room. Everything is neat and orderly. Even the cabinets shelves are labeled for each type of cup, plates, etc. Washer and dryer on first level. Beautiful balconies facing the beach. The location is in walking distance to restaurants. The only issue I had was the cost. I thought it was very high but we waited and booked fairly late.

Great ammenities, well furnished, just perfect! It really suited our family. The loft was great for a young couple with two preschoolers or all young people.

Very nicely appointed home. Clean and well-maintained. We have been visiting Emerald Isle for over 10 years and have stayed at various rentals - I really liked the overall location of this home on the island - very convenient. As one other reviewer noted, do not expect any consumables to be on-site at this home - next time we'll be sure to pack the TP! I don't know how 4 women went on vacation and all managed to forget a blow dryer - thanks Emerald Isle Realty for sending a loaner.

This was our 3rd trip to Emerald Isle and the first time using this rental company and I will never use anyone else. From booking to check out it was the easiest rental I have ever done. The home was wonderful and the kitchen has everything. There were puzzles, bookes and movies that we enjoyed. The 3rd level loft was perfect for the kids to have their own space. The only negative experience we had was not related to the home, but the time of year. The mosquitoes were really bad when you got off the beach.

The house was beautifuly decorated and in a great location. Even though the house was a duplex, it was very private. The kitchen was well very well stocked and the bedrooms were very spacious. The loft area was the favorite room which was perfect for all the kids.

The house was beautiful, just as we had expected it to be. Plenty of bedroom space, kitchens very well furnished. The only thing that marred our stay was the accident my granddaughter suffered 5/31 from a nail protuding from the deck. Had to have 7 stitches and on crutches rest of the stay.

The only thing that could have been better was an elevator.
