Very nice, comfortable and cozy older well kept beach house. We had 5 adults, 2 children and a dog and had plenty of room. Deck, front porch, and lots of fenced in space for the dog was great. Quiet neighborhood with many nice people around. A couple of blocks to nice, clean beach area. Good location close to stores and restaurants. Lots of games and books available for renters use. Would liked a dishwasher, but otherwise well equipped kitchen and nice area to eat on the deck. Very affordable. Not a fancy place but quaint, very pleasant and comfortable. Would recommend to others and would stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Palm Cottage. It was very close to the beach--only a 5 minute walk with two small children. The cottage was very clean, had two decks, a screened in porch and an outside shower. The outside shower was a big hit--our family actually chose to take their showers outside! The kitchen was well equipped. It is located in a quiet neighborhood and was pet friendly, so we were able to bring along our beloved jack russell terrier and he too enjoyed the stay with the exception of the sand fleas! We celebrated my son-in-law's birthday there (he is a marine stationed at Camp Lejeune) and it was an awesome time! The only downfall to this cottage is that the living room gets very hot in the late afternoon when the sun moves to the western sky and that was usually when we were cooking dinner which made it seem even hotter. This could probably be rectified by installing curtains at the window and door of the cottage or installing awnings over the window and door. Overall, we had a great vacation and will probably choose to stay here again.

My wife and I brought our 13 1/2 year old lab for the week. The place is beautiful--with a fenced/shaded back yard, excellent porch, very clean, located close to food/shopping/and the beach. Very quiet neighborhood. I wish we could buy it!!!Perfect for our family. Our 3rd year here--usually have 2 adult children with us. Very comfortable.
