We had a great vacation at Queens Court 1305! Unit turned out to be very nice-one of the two best in whole complex due to its location on top floor right in front. We had four large sliding glass doors as access to a wonderful, long balcony well-furnished w/2 tables, multiple chairs, and several rockers. Would have liked a chaise or two for sunning when it was too windy to be on beach, but that's getting pretty picky. Kitchen was well-equipped w/huge fridge. Dishwasher was terrible-I should have complained after first use but didn't. Counter space was adequate, counter for eating had four bar-height stools and was plenty roomy. Seating for 6 at DR table was quite cramped, though, and lighting in DR and especially LR was woefully dim. Hard to read/play games, impossible to do puzzle after sunset because it was just too dark in the room :( Fortunately, the Olympics were on and there were three very nice flat-screen Tv's in the unit, so we spent most evenings watching the events. And they had just gotten two new recliners in LR in addition to couch and older recliner, so seating for 6 was fine. Awesome MBR, other 2 bedrooms adequate. Beds a bit soft-not unusual for rental unit. Location on island was very convenient-complex is very near bridge and just a short drive to grocery/shopping center. Previously we had always vacationed at far end of EI, about 20 mins further down island, but chose this complex because we were bringing my 80-something parents who have mobility issues so we needed elevator access instead of stairs. Unit proved to be a great find as they could sit on balcony w/great view of much beach activity. Complex is right next to Public Beach access so it was much more crowded on beach than we are accustomed to, but it was not a big deal and my parents enjoyed themselves immensely, as did the younger folks! Overall, a very nice place, location, and experience-great for a multi-generational family vacation!
