    2012 Family Vacation

    Once again we had a great time at the crystal coast. Was a little rainy but no hurricane this year. We still got plenty of sun and surf. Great relaxing vacation. Sorry to see it come to an end. Gonna be a long wait til vacation next year!

    This is the second time our family has stayed at the Summerplace West. We love the location on the beach and the peacefulness. The only thing I would change is I feel that the home owner needs to invest a little money in updating the furniture, while durable it was very uncomfortable and it was the same furniture that was there over our first visit over 7yrs ago. Over all I feel while the home is a good value the homeowner might be wise to update things a bit and make some repairs to the decking.

    Update - May 24, 2012: I'm happy to let you know that the owners of this duplex have made repairs to the decks and deck benches. Update - May 15, 2012: The owners have addressed the furniture comfort issue. The worn-out seat cushions of the living room furniture have been replaced with high quality "Ultra-Foam."
