"Great location, beautiful house, multiple calls to rental agency"
First, the house is beautiful, and the layout is one of the best. Each of this six bedrooms has its own bathroom, which is very nice for a large group. The common area is well-appointed with a very large kitchen, equipped with two dishwashers. The first floor has a nice pool table and den, which was a plus with the kids. The beach house also had garage access, which is rare. The walk to the beach is rather long with steps over the dunes, and the wood walkway is poorly maintained with a number of loose boards and nails. The beach was lovely, and quite deserted. We had to contact the rental agency a number of times for malfunctioning equipment (the microwave and one of the dishwashers). Trash was a huge problem. We only had one dumpster when we arrived, and it was full. The pick-up days did not correspond with posted dates. After multiple calls to the realtors, we did get extra dumpsters at the end of the week, and our trash was randomly picked up (not a day posted).

"Family Reunion 2014"
We had a fabulous time in Indian Beach NC. The house is beautiful and clean. It had everything that we could possibly need. The only issues that we had were with the ovens. They just didnt seem to hold temperature. The house pool and hot tub were clean and all in excellent condition. The view is obscured by the trees, but the walkway to the beach is directly across the street. The beach was amazing, we practically were the only people on it, just a few people passing by on their walk etc... This was my first time to NC and I have to say I will be back. We visisted Cape Lookout, Fort Macon and did a wild horse tour out of Beaufort. The shops restaurants and businesses in Indian beach, Emerald Isle are very close to this house as well as Atlantic beach just a short ride up the road.

"A little piece of paradise"
The beds were made when we arrived with clean linens. The room temperatures were at a comfortable setting and maintained that way during the entire stay. This is unlike many other places we have visited that seemed to have the aC cut out at about 2 am.The Indian Beach police did not require that a shelter erected on the beach be taken down each night. All 16 members of our family thoroughly enjoyed the place.A perfect kick-back-and-relax location.

Bon Secour was a very nice home and we enjoyed our stay at Indian Beach. Sea Isle Drive is very secluded, with a lot of trees and very quiet. Enjoyed the peace and quiet of this location. The home was nicely appointed, with attractive furniture and well decorated rooms. The kitchen was nicely equipped, with a lot of cooking utensils and such. The one drawback with the kitchen was the one refrigerator. Not enough room for 3 families, with all their food. The place needs another full size refrigerator for sure. This was probably the cleanest home where we have stayed. The maintenance on the home prior to our arrival was top notch. Very clean. We did not need to call housekeeping for any need. We are very particular and as stated, the place was very clean. It was nice to have a private beach area, so to speak, however the beach access walkway was quite long with many steps. Some of us are older and the walkway was an issue. The beach was beautiful and the water was warm. The two drawback with this home was a lack of a decent grill for barbecuing and the trash pickup schedule. We are a grilling family and the grills in place upon on arrival, were poor at best. We called maintenance and they brought us a new unit to use, although small for our needs. They need to have a Weber type gas grill, with four burner minimum. Trash pickup was once a week. Not enough. The two 90 gallon cans were nearly full upon our arrival and we needed to wait until the following Thursday for trash pickup. Again, not enough. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Bon Secour and Emerald Isle Realty was super with responding to all our needs. Would recommend Bon Secour and Emerald Isle Realty.

loved the home and the location was great a short walk to beach. one problem we had was that when we arrived on sat the garbage cans were full . had to put garbage next to cans .animals made a huge mess every morning. i didnt feel i should be cleaning up garbage on my vacation every morning so mon afternoon called emerald isle realty told them of problem. they said pickup was not untill fri but they would sendthere own people to pick it up. sounded great but they never came.problem got worse untill fri pickup. also the house was advertised with screened in porch off kitchen . no screens. brought basketball because kids love to play house advertised basketball goal. did no exist to pat almost 7000.00 for a house i found these things unaccceptable
